MEET OUR BOARD MEMBERS

Milton Carpenter received his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Greek from Gordon College in Wenham Massachusetts and his Masters in Education in Administration from Fitchburg State College in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.

His training spreads across three disciplines: education, Medical radiology and juvenile justice. He has fifty years of experience in children’s work: youth pastor, settlement house work, pediatric medical services, public school educator/administrator and juvenile probation officer with a specialty in victim’s rights.


Milt serves the ACWI Board as our Secretary. He is an active member of Fellowship of Grace, PCA, where he has served as Coordinator of Men’s Ministries.

 

Curt McConnell serves in the administration offices of the Maricopa County Juvenile Court.

Curt serves the ACWI Board as our Treasurer. He is an active member of Fellowship of Grace, PCA, where he has served as a teacher for Adult SundaySchool and for Men's Fellowship.

Nathan Miller graduated from Grand Canyon University. He has held a variety of positions in the technology field, mainly in the area of network security. He is currently a project manager at Carefx, Inc. 

Nathan brings a passion for integrative Christianity, merging ministries of both word and deed. He is an active member of Fellowship of Grace, PCA, where he serves as a deacon.

Kathryn Shull received a B.S. in Elementary Education from Oklahoma City University. She has served in a number of Christian schools, both traditional and on-line. She is currently serving at Primavera Online High School as an Instructor.

She volunteers for both Crisis Pregnancy Center of Greater Phoenix and The Center for Arizona Policy.

With several years of experience in fund-raising, she serves the ACWI Board marketing and fundraising. She is an active member of Fellowship of Grace, PCA, where she has served in a variety of capacities.

 

Keith Shull received his M.Div. from Western Theological Seminary in Holland, Michigan. He has served in a number of Christian schools, both as an instructor and administrator. He has been a curriculum designer for a major public school curriculum publisher, and is currently a curriculum designer for Alpha Omega Publications .

He volunteers for both Crisis Pregnancy Center of Greater Phoenix and The Center for Arizona Policy.

He is the founder and Executive Director of ACWI and serves the Board on the Academic committee. He is an active member of Fellowship of Grace, PCA, where he serves as a Ruling Elder and Coordinator of Adult Sunday School. 

Mollie (the Collie) Straub serves the ACWI Board as the official mascot and face-licker. She exhibits Christ's command to "love your neighbor," as well as everyone else! Here you see her looking out the window, anxiously awaiting Christ's return.
